What To Do After An Accident

For those lucky few that have never been in an accident, fender bender, or any other highway mishap, take it from us - it can be a stressful! Even for a seasoned driver, it can be easy to forget how to react in the moment. We know an accident is no picnic, but we work hard to make your claims process as smooth as possible. Accident Guide:

  1. Take a breath. Stay calm. It’s important to keep a level head in any situation.

  2. Call 911. Even for a fender-bender, it’s best to call the police. The other party may try to skip out on a claim, leaving you on the hook.

  3. If there are downed power lines, notify the police and stay inside the car. If there are downed lines and it’s completely impossible to stay in the car, follow the steps outlined in this video.

  4. Assist anyone injured. (Follow the instructions of 911 operators or paramedics)
